Here is an update on performances and events for this holiday season.
November 29th, 5:00 pm at Lula Lounge. Super Rumba Jam featuring Consuela Herrera, Joaquin Nunez Hidalgo and the Afro Cuban Ensemble Rumba Iyabo. Celebrating Cuban culture and a presentation of the 2010 Cuban Drumming and Dance Retreat. Bring your drums and your dancing shoes...
Every Wednesday, 9:00 pm at Latinada, 1671 Bloor St. W. Cuban guitarist Elmer Ferrer band with special guest vocalist Dominique Roy and Joaquin Nunez Hidalgo on percussion.

 WORKSHOPS & CLINICS
The Rumba Workshop happening every Monday evening at 7:00 pm at Soul Drums. Please note that participants will have a discount as a performer in the 2010 Cuban drumming retreat, as well as an opportunity to perform in Joaquin's live shows.
For the remaining part of the year I will be hosting the Soul Drums Saturday morning drum circle on November 28 and December 5th.
Private lessons at Soul Drums will now also be available on Tuesday from 4-9 pm and Wednesday 1-9 pm.
Lessons are also available at Bravo School of Music on Thursday from 4-9 pm.
